- Stephen Serene ran a personal best of 4:03 in the 1500m (equivalent to a 4:22 mile!) at Washington Lee University in Lexington, VA.
- Sherry Chao placed 2nd in the 200m breastsroke at the 2010 New England LSMC Short Course Yards Championship.

January 4, 2010: Alvaro Sanchez-Andres accepted an offer to become the lab's second full-time postdoc. Sept 10, 2009: The lab got its first formal UROP student. Stephen Serene is a sophomore physics major and will be working on evolutionary reversability. Sept 10, 2009: Eugene Yurtsev, a first year physics graduate student, becomes the second student to join the lab. Sept 4, 2009: Lei Dai, a first year physics graduate student, becomes the first student to join the lab! September 1, 2009: First day of the lab, and Kaya Erbil starts. July 6, 2009: Kaya Erbil accepts an offer to start Sept 1 as the lab's first (joint) postdoc!
